The ambiance strikes a balance between casual comfort and refined dining, setting the stage for an enjoyable meal. The inviting nature of the staff complements the atmosphere, making every visit feel warm and welcoming.

Exquisite Starters

Severn Fine Indian Cuisine excels at launching your meal with its exclusive starters. The Tandoori Mix Kebab featuring chicken tikka, lamb tikka, and sheek kebab is a hearty selection that showcases tender meats infused with aromatic spices. Priced at £6.20, this starter is a true crowd-pleaser. For a hint of luxury, try the Duck Shashlik; the marinated, succulent duck pieces roasted to perfection on skewers is an unforgettable taste experience. Another standout is the Jhinga Butterfly, where king-sized prawns are elegantly deep-fried for a crispy delight.

Signature Dishes

Moving on to the signature dishes, the North Indian Garlic Butter Chicken delightfully combines rich flavors and tender chicken, all enveloped in a creamy, garlicky sauce for just £9.50. Alternatively, the Tawa Nawabi Sizzler presents a fiery experience with its tender chicken tossed in a spicy sauce, guaranteed to fire up your taste buds at £10.90.

Vegetarian Options

Vegetarians need not fret. The Saag Paneer Jalfrezi brings together the goodness of spinach and cheese, spiced and sautéed in a medley of onions and tomatoes for a soothing yet invigorating dish priced at £7.90. There's also the Vegetable Shashlick, an earthy choice with mixed vegetables grilled to perfection, served with fresh herbs and spices.

Combination Dishes and Biryani

For those who find it hard to choose, the combination dishes present a delightful remedy—like the Chicken Korma & Chicken Balti for just £10.90, allowing you to relish the extraordinary flavors of various dishes in one meal. If you’re a fan of fragrant rice, the Lamb Malaya biryani, a sensational blend of spices and tender lamb, will satisfy your craving for something hearty.

Whether you're a long-time fan of Indian cuisine or a curious newcomer, Severn Fine Indian Cuisine promises a memorable dining experience complemented by quality service. It's no wonder that reviews highlight the exceptional service and friendly staff, although there are mentions of mixed experiences regarding flavor consistency. Staff seem friendly and welcoming, restaurant was fairly well presented felt clean and tidy, toilets were clean however having just one toilet per male/female caused a little wait. The food was served fairly quick however the taste was very bland, the papadams tasted stale, the main meal lacked flavour whilst my wife asked for chicken tikka and received plain chicken, they did however knock a pound of the total bill (thanks). For a Saturday evening to be able to walk in and get a table maybe I should have been a little more cautious.
